Released on August 9th, 2003 at the first @ntiFEST Horror Rock festival, Slumber Party Massacre II is a rather strange CD.
Originally, the CD was meant to be no more than a re-release of the sold out Slumber Party Massacre E.P., but with a better mix. However, Sam Bones (who had wrote most of the songs on the CD but had left the band before the Slumber Party Massacre E.P. was recorded) had recently returned to the band and wanted to use the opportunity to play guitar on the songs he had written. So the guitars were overdubbed and the songs were remixed.
Then, in order to make sure that the people that already owned the original Slumber Party Massacre E.P. would get their money's worth if they wanted to purchase this CD as well, the band decided to add a couple bonus tracks, cover songs, and a live track to the CD.
The end result is a unique CD that's too short to be a proper full length CD, yet much longer than a standard E.P.. It' could almost be considered a compilation CD, but not quite. The music is a bit lopsided, with several poppy punk songs thrown alongside ambient instrumental mood music, and dark keyboard ballads. This caused the CD to be met with mixed reviews, although it was generally embraced by fans who were simply eager to hear more from The EverDead.

On Halloween of 2002, The EverDead made their official musical debut with the Slumber Party Massacre EP, of which only 500 copies were made.
Originally, the band had set out to record a full length CD entitled "Zombies, Werewolves, & Demons". However, when they started recording the album, they found that a handful of songs were just too simple and obviously Misfits inspired to fit in with their newer, more musically mature songs. Instead of throwing the songs away, the band decided to release them on their own EP along with "Human Prey", a re-imagining of the Green Day song 'Don't Leave Me'.
Despite some production flaws, the five song CD was well received and sold out quickly, earning The EverDead a respectable place in the Horror Rock community. In response to the EP selling out so quickly, The EverDead decided to re-release the CD with a better mix and several bonus tracks, which would become the "Slumber Party Massacre II" CD.
